Glaciers - (part 4)
So, this is a glacier called - you guessed it - surprise glacier.

And the ever sharp action photographer, Miss Charlotte, caught a few more
tons of the stuff raising
the ocean up. We don't really have a picture that fully does justice to this
next phenomena, but
look at the center left of the ice and see those two bands of deeper blue. Ice
that color, I hear,
was created under unthinkable pressure.

Enough sea level. On the way back to Anchorage, we took a tram up to that
spec on top of the
mountain. This is a ski resort called Alyeska. We're going to eat dinner up
there.

Here's the view from the top, coming down. Ok. That's it for today. Close the
blinds. Get it just a
little dark and try to sleep until the morning hours.
