REPORT FROM THE WALK:

From Wally Fontanbleau:

This EarthWalk Ocean Barge is so cool. It’s got everything. Some folks who have been on the Queen Mary say they would prefer this any day. Hey, we had a neat presentation on nutrition from the Chief Medical Officer. He is so funny too. Can you believe the chief is a chef too. Anyway he’s asked us all to take a little quiz on his lecture and the orangutan twins are doling out a free lunch point for every right answer. Watch for the quiz tomorrow.

Here’s a reconnaissance photo from a US Navy fighter plane of the harbor in Ecuador that we were in a couple days ago. They can’t see our EarthWalk Ocean Barge!

MORE ABOUT THOSE FREE SOCKS:

Elizabeth Writes:

I received my free socks also. I had worn Thorlos before when I trained for a marathon. This Pair is so nice. They feel great before you even put them on. Hiking Level 1, I believe. Thorlos has written me back to ask me some questions since I wrote them a long thing about the use of the socks before. Yes, I will buy more of these also. Just to feel them on my feet."

EarthWalkers! Get your free pair of socks by registering at Thorlo ( www.thorlo.com )

A REMINDER: MORE POINTS TO BE AWARDED FOR FREE LUNCHES WHILE IN SOUTH AMERICA

The Orangutan Twins are up to some more monkey business. They are going to issue a free lunch point to everyone in a tribe, for every new tribe member they recruit while we are in South America. Not only that! If you aren’t in a tribe, you will get a point for every non-tribal signup while we are in South America. Recruit! That’s the game according to Flipsie and Flopsie. Recruit!

FROM THE OMAHAHA CORPORATE OFFICES

We’re still having a lot of trouble with the crocs and alligators holed up and blockaded on the 4th floor data entry area. So far we’ve been able to keep entering data on the few systems that are still operational by using a remote access program.

A brief update:

We have passed 5,000 miles. That puts us just a couple hundred miles shy of the Galapagos. We should hit the islands later today or tonight.

The EarthWalk Weight Loss Clan is just 2 tenths of a pound shy of losing their first 100 pounds. Congratulations!

We are now over 170 strong and gaining more EarthWalkers every day.
