THE STARTING GUN COMMITTEE

This year we’ll have a tremendous start of the EarthWalk. Here is what is planned:

The First Wave – Midnight

All over the world there will be gatherings and fireworks. Big televised events will be broadcast live from all the large cities of the world. After celebrating the starting moment, these early bird walkers will start logging miles as they leave the events.

The Second Wave – 10am

A small event taking place at Computer Co-op in Jackson, MS. Here followers of Swami WalkaLotta will sit perfectly still for one hour. Then stretch for a few minutes. And only then will they begin to slowly take a step here and there. Swami says “Why be in a hurry to get somewhere when it means you are leaving somewhere just as much. What’s the point?” Narrator’s note: Be careful about Swami’s advice. You should know that his participation is sponsored by a major candy manufacturer and his full name is Swami WalkaLottaForALottaChocolatta.

The Third Wave – Noon

All over the United States towns and cities large and small will turn on their civil defense sirens for a full minute to get everyone started on the EarthWalk.

THE FREE LUNCH PROGRAM

The executive board of the Conscious Living Project met at their headquarters in Omahaha and are offering Free Lunch For Two prizes to the top ten participation point winners.

How do you win points? The orangutan twins have been put in charge of determining participation points. Some of their first point determinations are listed here. A more complete list of point awards will be posted on the website very shortly.
